Delivered Items To Be Billed
Delivery Note lines already sent to customers but not yet on a Sales Invoice.
In detail
Delivered Items To Be Billed lists Delivery Note lines where goods have left the warehouse but no Sales Invoice has been raised, with the quantity delivered, billed and the unbilled amount. Every row is revenue the business has earned but not yet recorded, and VAT not yet declared; under Nepali rules the invoice must be issued at the time of supply, so a long list is both a cash problem and a compliance problem. The report compares the Delivery Note with invoices linked to it, so an invoice created separately without the link will leave the row standing. Run it weekly and before the VAT return. Goods worth Rs 15,000 delivered on Ashwin 5 without an invoice would appear here.
Formula
Pending amount = Delivered qty x Rate - Billed qty x Rate per Delivery Note line; row shows while Billed qty < Delivered qty
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Financial Reports > Delivered Items To Be Billed.
- 02Set Company and optionally From Date, To Date, Customer or Item.
- 03Read Delivery Note, Customer, Item, Qty, Billed Qty and Pending Amount per row.
- 04Open the Delivery Note and click Create > Sales Invoice to bill the pending lines.
- 05Submit the invoice; it syncs to CBMS and the row disappears on rerun.
- 06Run the report again before the VAT return so nothing delivered escapes VAT.
When to use it
Open weekly so nothing delivered goes unbilled.
