Sales Invoice Trends

Sales totals by month, quarter or year, grouped by item, customer or territory, from Sales Invoice.

In detail

Sales Invoice Trends adds up Sales Invoices by month, quarter, half year or year and lays the periods side by side, grouped by whatever you choose: item, item group, customer, customer group, territory or project. It turns 207 invoices into a few rows that show seasonality, such as a tour company's peak in Ashwin and Kartik and the quiet monsoon months, and which customers or products are growing. The figures are net amounts from submitted invoices, so VAT is excluded and cancelled invoices do not count. In the demo, August 2026 shows Rs 32,000 billed to Jivan Dahal with other months making up the rest of the Rs 64,000. Use it when planning stock and staff for next season.

Formula

Cell value = Sum of net amount (or quantity) of Sales Invoices in the period for the row's item, customer or territory
