Sales Payment Summary

For each day or invoice, how sales were paid: cash, bank, cheque or other modes, from Sales Invoice.

In detail

Sales Payment Summary shows how the period's sales were settled: for each day or invoice, the amount received by cash, bank transfer, cheque, card or other Mode of Payment, with the cashier or owner who recorded it. A shop or counter runs it at closing time to match the cash drawer and the card terminal against the system, and a tour office uses it to see which bookings were paid in cash. It reads Payment Entries and POS payments linked to Sales Invoices, so a receipt entered without a Mode of Payment lands in an Unspecified column. The demo shows Rs 36,160 received by bank transfer on 2026-08-31 against one invoice. Differences against the drawer are investigated the same day.

Formula

Per day: Sum of received amount grouped by Mode of Payment; total = Sum of Payment Entries against Sales Invoices that day
