Accounts Receivable Summary

One row per customer: total billed, paid and outstanding, split into ageing ranges.

In detail

Accounts Receivable Summary collapses the invoice by invoice list into one row per customer: total invoiced, total paid, credit notes, outstanding, and the outstanding split into the same ageing buckets. It is the view for an owner or manager who wants to know total debtors and the three customers who owe the most, not every invoice number. The grand total of the Outstanding column must equal the Debtors balance in the Trial Balance on the same date; if it does not, an unallocated receipt or a broken Payment Ledger row is the usual cause. Jivan Dahal shows invoiced Rs 36,160, received Rs 36,160 and outstanding Rs 0 in the demo. Use it monthly to decide credit limits.

Formula

Per customer: Outstanding = Sum of invoiced - Sum of paid - Sum of credit notes; grand total = Debtors balance
