Item-wise Sales Register

Sales broken down to item lines: item, quantity, rate, amount and tax per Sales Invoice.

In detail

Item-wise Sales Register breaks each Sales Invoice down to its lines: item code and name, item group, quantity, rate, amount and the tax on that line, with the customer, invoice number and date repeated on each row. It answers which products or services actually bring in the money, something the invoice level Sales Register cannot show. A tour company sees which packages sell; a trader sees which item groups move. Because VAT is applied per line through Item Tax Templates, this report also shows which items were charged 13 percent, 5 percent or zero, useful when the IRD questions a rate. The demo shows a Rs 32,000 tour package line with Rs 4,160 VAT on ACC-SINV-2026-00004.

Formula

Line amount = Quantity x Rate; Line tax = Amount x Item tax rate; invoice total = Sum of lines + taxes
