Payment Period Based On Invoice Date

For each paid invoice, the days between invoice date and payment date.

In detail

This report measures how long customers really take to pay, or how long you take to pay suppliers. For each paid invoice it shows the invoice date, the payment date and the days between them, taken from the Payment Entry or Journal Entry that settled it. The average is the true credit period of the business, which is often very different from the 30 days printed on the invoice; knowing it lets a Nepali owner set realistic Payment Terms, decide who deserves credit and forecast cash. Unpaid invoices do not appear, so the report understates the problem if several customers never pay. The demo shows the gap between the ACC-SINV-2026-00004 invoice date and Jivan Dahal's receipt on 2026-08-31.

Formula

Days to pay = Payment posting date - Invoice posting date, one row per paid invoice; average over the period
