Total Warehouses

This card counts Warehouse records, with no filter, so it includes group warehouses and disabled ones. The demo has 5: Stores, Finished Goods, Work In Progress, Goods In Transit and Koteshwor Store. Each warehouse can carry its own stock account, so adding a branch warehouse may also add a line to the Balance Sheet. The count is mostly a sanity check: if it jumps, someone has created warehouses by mistake, which scatters stock and makes the Stock Balance report hard to read.

2. 02Click the card to open the Warehouse list; tick Is Group to see the tree structure.
3. 03Open a warehouse to set its account and address.
4. 04There is no period filter on this card.
5. 05Disable warehouses you no longer use rather than deleting them, so old entries stay valid.
