Dashboard number cards
Total Active Items
Count of Items not disabled.
In detail
An Item is anything you buy, sell or stock: a tour package, a laptop, a kilogram of rice. This card counts Items not marked disabled, with no date filter, so it is the size of your catalogue. The demo has 100 items. Each item carries its tax template, which decides whether an invoice line gets 13 percent VAT, 5 percent or exemption, so a wrongly set item quietly misstates VAT Payable. Review the list when the count rises unexpectedly, because duplicate items split stock and confuse reports.
Formula
Total Active Items = Count of Item where disabled = 0
