Dashboard number cards

Active RQ Worker

Count of background job workers currently running on the server.

In detail

RQ workers are the background processes that send emails, build large reports, run the nightly depreciation job and push invoices to CBMS. This card counts the RQ Worker records the server reports as alive, with no filter. It is a technical health check: the number itself does not matter as long as it is 1 or more. If it shows 0, submitted invoices will still post to the ledger, but anything queued, including the CBMS sync, will wait until the workers are restarted.

Formula

Active RQ Worker = Count of RQ Worker records currently reported by the server

How to record it in BRAccount

  1. 01Go to System; the card sits with Scheduled Jobs and Error Logs.
  2. 02Click the card to open the RQ Worker list and see each worker and its queue.
  3. 03There is no period to change; press the refresh icon on the card to re-read the server.
  4. 04If it shows 0, ask your administrator to restart the background workers.
  5. 05Afterwards open Nepal IRD > CBMS Sync Log and retry any invoices still marked pending.

When to use it

Technical card; if it shows 0, emails, reports and CBMS syncs will not run.
