Dashboard number cards
Scheduled Jobs
Count of Scheduled Job Types defined, such as nightly depreciation or CBMS retry.
In detail
A Scheduled Job Type is a timer that runs a task automatically: the daily depreciation posting, the nightly CBMS retry, the monthly close reminder and the standard ERPNext housekeeping. This card counts all Scheduled Job Type records, with no filter, so it confirms that automation was installed, not that it ran. A stopped job still counts. The administrator should check it after an update, because a missing nepal_ird job means the Monthly Close and depreciation will have to be run by hand.
Formula
Scheduled Jobs = Count of all Scheduled Job Type records, stopped or not
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to System and read the card.
- 02Click the card to open the Scheduled Job Type list; filter Stopped = Yes to find paused jobs.
- 03Open a job to see its frequency and the last time it ran.
- 04There is no period filter; use the refresh icon on the card after installing an app.
- 05If the depreciation or CBMS job is missing, ask your administrator to reinstall the nepal_ird cycle.
When to use it
Technical card for the administrator to confirm automation is set up.
