Total System Users
Count of Users who can log in to the desk.
In detail
A system user can log in to the desk and work: the owner, the accountant, the storekeeper. This card counts enabled User records with user type System User, which is the number of staff seats in use. Administrator plus the accountant and the owner gives 3 in the demo. Each user's roles decide what they may post, so this count is also the number of people who can change the books. Review it when staff leave; a forgotten active login is the commonest audit finding.
Formula
Total System Users = Count of User where user_type = System User and enabled = 1
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Users and read the card.
- 02Click the card to open the User list filtered to system users.
- 03Open a user to review roles; give the accountant Accounts Manager, not System Manager.
- 04There is no period filter on this card.
- 05Untick Enabled on any user who has left and save.
When to use it
Matches the number of staff seats you pay for.
