Total Website Users
Count of Users with website access only, such as customer portal logins.
In detail
A website user can log in to the customer or supplier portal to see their own invoices, but cannot open the desk. This card counts User records with user type Website User and not disabled. The demo books show 0 because no customers have been invited. Website users do not consume staff seats and cannot post anything to the ledger. The count matters when you start sending portal links with invoices, so customers can download their tax invoice copies themselves.
Formula
Total Website Users = Count of User where user_type = Website User and enabled = 1
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Users; the card sits with Total System Users.
- 02Click the card to open the User list filtered to website users.
- 03To invite a customer, open Selling > Customer > Portal Users and add their email.
- 04There is no period filter on this card.
- 05Disable users who leave so the count stays accurate.
When to use it
How many customers or suppliers can log in to the portal.
