Count of all Asset records.
In detail
This card counts all Asset records, with no filter, so it is the size of your fixed asset register: 2 in the demo, Furniture and Fixtures ACC-ASS-2026-00001 and Office Equipment ACC-ASS-2026-00002. Draft, submitted, fully depreciated and scrapped assets all count until deleted. The register is what the auditor and the IRD ask for when they check depreciation claims, so every item of equipment above a trivial value should appear here rather than being expensed.

How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Assets; the card is in the top row.
- 02Click the card to open the Asset list; filter by status to separate draft and scrapped.
- 03There is no period filter on this card.
- 04Open an asset to see its location, category and schedule.
- 05Print Financial Reports > Fixed Asset Register when the auditor asks for the register.
