New Assets (This Year)

This card counts Asset records created in the current calendar year, so it shows this year's capital spending in number of items, not value. The demo shows 2: the office furniture for Rs 40,000 and the Dell laptop for Rs 1,00,000, both bought on 2026-10-19. Note that it uses the English calendar year and the record creation date, not the purchase date or the Nepali fiscal year. Each asset was capitalised by its Purchase Invoice and depreciates straight line from its schedule.

New Assets (This Year) = Count of Asset where creation in this year

1. 01Go to Assets and read the card.
2. 02Click the card to open the Asset list filtered to this year's records.
3. 03To align with the fiscal year, open the card menu > Edit and set the Timespan to a date range.
4. 04Open an asset to confirm its Purchase Invoice link, category and depreciation schedule.
5. 05Make sure each new asset is submitted so depreciation starts posting.
