POS Register

Point of Sale invoices for a period with cashier, customer, mode of payment and amount.

In detail

The POS Register lists Point of Sale invoices for a period with the POS profile, cashier, customer, mode of payment, warehouse and amount, one row per invoice. It is the shift closing report for a retail counter: the totals per cashier and per mode of payment are what the cash drawer and the card terminal must match before the counter closes. POS invoices in Nepal still need the IRD invoice number, QR code and CBMS sync like any other sale, and they flow into the Sales Book and VAT return. Returns appear as negative rows when Is Return is included. The demo books use ordinary Sales Invoices rather than POS, so the report is empty there.

Formula

Per cashier and mode of payment: Sum of POS invoice grand totals in the period, returns subtracted
