WIP Work Orders

Count of Work Orders in progress.

In detail

A Work Order with status In Process has had material transferred to the work in progress warehouse but has not yet produced its full quantity. This card counts them, so it shows how much production is on the floor right now. The demo books show 0. Material moved into Work In Progress is still Stock In Hand in the ledger, only in a different warehouse, so the card is about operations rather than accounting. Orders stuck here for weeks usually mean a missing component or an unrecorded completion.

Formula

WIP Work Orders = Count of Work Order where status = In Process
