Serial No Service Contract Expiry is a Report Builder listing of Serial No records with their Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) expiry dates, showing the serial, the item, the customer it was delivered to and the AMC expiry. The dates are typed on the Serial No record when a service contract is sold or renewed. For a business that sells machines, generators or computers with maintenance plans, it is the renewal diary: contracts ending in the next month are the calls to make, and lapsed ones are revenue lost. It reads only the Serial No table, has no accounting effect, and the renewal itself is billed by a Sales Invoice.

How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Stock > Serial No Service Contract Expiry.
- 02Filter AMC Expiry Date to the next 30 or 60 days.
- 03Read Serial No, Item, Customer and the expiry date.
- 04Contact each customer and raise a Sales Invoice for the renewal.
- 05Update AMC Expiry Date on the Serial No once renewed.
When to use it
Open to renew service contracts before they lapse.
