Warehouse wise Item Balance Age and Value

Per item and warehouse: balance quantity, average age in days and value.

In detail

Warehouse wise Item Balance Age and Value combines two questions into one table: for each item, how many units sit in each warehouse and how much they are worth, plus how old that stock is on average. Quantity and value come from Stock Ledger Entries up to the To Date, while the age comes from the FIFO queue, the same method Stock Ageing uses, so the two reports agree. The layout has one column per warehouse, which makes it the easiest view for deciding which branch is holding stale goods and should transfer them to where they sell. It is a planning report; nothing in it posts.

Formula

Average age = sum over FIFO lots of (lot qty x days since receipt) / total qty, per item and warehouse
