Warehouse Wise Stock Balance

Stock quantity and value per warehouse, following the warehouse tree.

In detail

Warehouse Wise Stock Balance follows the warehouse tree and shows, for each warehouse and each group above it, the total stock quantity and stock value as at the date chosen, with group rows adding up their children so All Warehouses - YFF is the company total. It is computed from Stock Ledger Entries up to the date, which makes it valid for a past date unlike the Bin based reports. A branch manager compares Koteshwor Store against Stores, an owner sees how much money sits in Goods In Transit or with a subcontractor, and the accountant takes the top line to the Balance Sheet. Values follow the warehouse to account mapping, so a wrongly mapped warehouse shows up here first.

Formula

Warehouse value = sum over items of balance qty x valuation rate at the date; group value = sum of children
