Stock Balance
Per item and warehouse: opening, in, out and closing quantity and value for a period.
In detail
Stock Balance is the inventory statement: for each item in each warehouse it shows opening quantity and value, quantity and value received, quantity and value issued, and the closing quantity, value and valuation rate for the dates you choose. Everything is summed from Stock Ledger Entries, so it agrees with the documents to the paisa and the closing value for All Warehouses - YFF must equal Stock In Hand - YFF in the Trial Balance. Nepali businesses use it to value closing stock for the annual accounts, to check a physical count, and to answer an IRD query on inventory. A mismatch with the ledger usually means a Journal Entry hit the stock account directly or a repost failed.
Formula
Closing qty = opening qty + in qty - out qty; closing value likewise; valuation rate = closing value / closing qty
