Items To Be Requested

Items To Be Requested finds items whose stock has fallen to or below the Reorder Level set on the Item master and that do not yet have an open Material Request, so the buyer sees what must be requested today. It compares the projected quantity in the Bin against the item's reorder rows per warehouse and excludes anything already covered by a pending request. In a business with the auto reorder job switched on in Stock Settings these requests are raised automatically; the report is then an audit of what the job should have created. Items without a reorder level never appear, so set levels on everything that must not run out.

1. 01Go to Stock > Items To Be Requested.
2. 02Set Company; filter by Warehouse if buying is per branch.
3. 03Read Item, Warehouse, Projected Qty and Reorder Level.
4. 04Select rows and click Create Material Request, or raise one under Stock > Material Request.
5. 05Submit the request; the row disappears because a pending request now exists.

Open to raise purchase requests before stock runs out.
