Sales Orders to Deliver

This card counts submitted Sales Orders with status To Deliver or To Deliver and Bill, so it shows customer promises still open: an upcoming trek booked but not yet run, goods ordered but not shipped. Delivery posts Dr Cost of Goods Sold, Cr Stock In Hand through the Delivery Note; for a service there is no delivery note and the invoice closes the order. Use it for planning staff and stock, and watch for orders left open after the work was done.

Sales Orders to Deliver = Count of Sales Order where docstatus = 1 and status in (To Deliver, To Deliver and Bill)

1. 01Go to Selling; the card is in the top row.
2. 02Click the card to open the Sales Order list filtered to orders awaiting delivery.
3. 03Sort by delivery date to plan this week's work.
4. 04For goods, open the order and use Create > Delivery Note when they ship.
5. 05There is no period filter; close orders that will not be fulfilled from the Status menu.
