Dashboard number cards
Purchase Orders to Bill
Count of submitted Purchase Orders not yet fully billed, whether or not goods have arrived.
In detail
This card counts submitted Purchase Orders whose status is To Bill or To Receive and Bill, meaning the supplier's invoice has not yet been booked in full, whether or not the goods have arrived. These are bills you should expect, and at month end they are the cost of accruing. An order received on Ashwin 10 without a bill shows 1 here, and its goods sit in Stock Received But Not Billed until the Purchase Invoice clears that account to Creditors.
Formula
Purchase Orders to Bill = Count of Purchase Order where docstatus = 1 and status in (To Bill, To Receive and Bill)
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Buying and read the card.
- 02Click the card to open the Purchase Order list filtered to orders awaiting a bill.
- 03Open an order and use Create > Purchase Invoice when the supplier bill arrives.
- 04There is no period filter; the card drops as bills are booked.
- 05Before the monthly close, chase suppliers for missing bills so VAT Receivable is claimed in the right month.
When to use it
