Ongoing Job Cards

A Job Card is one operation of a Work Order assigned to a workstation, with start and end times logged by the operator. This card counts Job Cards whose status is Work In Progress, so it shows how many operations are running on the shop floor right now. The demo books show 0. Job cards post nothing to the ledger; their logged time feeds the operating cost on the finished Work Order. Cards left in progress overnight usually mean the operator forgot to stop the timer.

Ongoing Job Cards = Count of Job Card where status = Work In Progress

1. 01Go to Manufacturing; the card sits with the Work Order cards.
2. 02Click the card to open the Job Card list filtered to Work In Progress.
3. 03Open a card to see the workstation, operator and time logged.
4. 04There is no period filter on this card.
5. 05Complete the job card when the operation ends so the Work Order can be finished.
