Item Wise Consumption
Quantity of raw materials consumed per item over a period, from Stock Ledger Entry.
In detail
Item Wise Consumption shows how much of each raw material or consumable was used over a period, taken from the outgoing Stock Ledger Entries of Material Issue and Manufacture Stock Entries, with quantity and value, optionally grouped month by month. It separates consumption from sales: a Delivery Note is a sale, a Material Issue of packaging or a Manufacture entry that eats fabric is consumption. The value is at valuation rate, so it is the cost that left stock into expenses or into finished goods. Use it to see where materials go, to spot waste, and to compare actual use against BOM standards. For services firms it also captures consumables issued to projects.
Formula
Consumed qty = sum of qty issued on Material Issue and Manufacture Stock Entries in the period, per item
