Available Batch Report

Available Batch Report shows each batch of a batched item with the quantity currently available per warehouse, computed by summing the Stock Ledger Entries for that batch, together with the batch's expiry date. It is the picking list for tea, medicine, food, paint or anything bought in lots: see which batches exist, how much is left in each, and which expire first, so the oldest or soonest expiring lot goes out on the next Delivery Note. Batches that have reached zero drop off the list. Nothing posts from the report; the Serial and Batch Bundle on the delivery records which batch actually left.

Batch qty available = sum of actual qty on Stock Ledger Entries for that batch and warehouse

1. 01Go to Stock > Available Batch Report.
2. 02Set Company, From Date and To Date; filter by Item and Warehouse.
3. 03Read Batch, Balance Qty and Expiry Date per row.
4. 04Sort by Expiry Date and pick the earliest batch for the next delivery.
5. 05Enter that batch in the Serial and Batch Bundle on the Delivery Note.

Open for batch tracked goods such as medicine or food to pick the right batch.
