Goods In Transit - YFF is typed Transit and exists for two step transfers between stores. When Stores sends caps to Koteshwor Store by truck, the sending clerk submits a Material Transfer with Add to Transit; the stock leaves Stores and parks in Goods In Transit. When the truck arrives, the receiving clerk submits the End Transit entry, moving it into Koteshwor Store. Each person confirms only what they saw, which stops goods vanishing between branches. Stock in transit remains in Stock In Hand - YFF, so the ledger is unchanged; the gain is control. A balance left in transit for days means a receipt was never confirmed.

1. 01Go to Stock > Stock Entry > New, purpose Material Transfer, tick Add to Transit.
2. 02Set Source Warehouse Stores - YFF; the target fills with Goods In Transit - YFF.
3. 03Add the items and submit; the goods now show in Goods In Transit - YFF.
4. 04At the branch, open the transit entry and click End Transit.
5. 05Set the target to Koteshwor Store - YFF and submit; transit returns to zero.
6. 06Review Stock Balance for Goods In Transit - YFF weekly for anything stuck.
