Sales Order Trends

This chart runs the Sales Order Trends report, monthly for the fiscal year, and draws order value per period, so it shows order intake across the year. The demo shows monthly bars across fiscal year 2083-2084. It uses submitted Sales Orders at order date, before delivery and invoicing, so it leads the Revenue card by the time it takes to fulfil. A falling trend here is the earliest warning that next quarter's sales will be weak.

Each bar = Sum of Sales Order amount per period, from the Sales Order Trends report grouped monthly for the fiscal year

1. 01Go to Selling; the chart sits beside Top Customers.
2. 02Hover a bar to read the ordered value for that month.
3. 03To change the range, open the chart menu > Edit and set Fiscal Year or Period in the report filters.
4. 04Click the chart to open the full Sales Order Trends report.
5. 05Act on a weak month by reviewing Open Opportunity on the CRM workspace.
