Packing Slip
Lists packages, contents and weights for a Delivery Note. No ledger effect.
In detail
A Packing Slip describes how a Delivery Note's goods are boxed: package numbers, the items in each carton, net and gross weight. It is printed and stuck on the parcel so the customer or the courier can check contents without opening it, and it is useful for transporters who charge by weight. It is created from a submitted Delivery Note and may cover only part of it, so several slips can belong to one note. It moves no stock and posts nothing; all quantities already left the warehouse when the Delivery Note was submitted. Slips lock on submit so that the packed quantities match what was signed for.
