Location-wise Asset Value

This chart runs the Fixed Asset Register and groups asset value by Location, so it shows where your equipment physically sits: head office, branch, site. In the demo one location holds both assets, Rs 1,40,000 cost less depreciation to date. Locations are set on the Asset record and changed with an Asset Movement, which posts nothing but keeps the register honest. The chart is useful for insurance and for the physical verification an auditor asks for.

Each bar = Sum of asset net value per location, from the Fixed Asset Register

1. 01Go to Assets; the chart sits with Category-wise Asset Value.
2. 02Hover a bar to read the location and value.
3. 03To change the date or status, open the chart menu > Edit and set the report filters.
4. 04Click the chart to open the full Fixed Asset Register.
5. 05Record any asset that has moved with Assets > Asset Movement.
