Dashboard charts
Category-wise Asset Value
Chart from the Fixed Asset Register: asset value per asset category.
In detail
This chart runs the Fixed Asset Register and groups asset value by Asset Category, so it compares furniture against equipment against vehicles. The demo shows Furniture and Fixtures Rs 40,000 and Office Equipment Rs 1,00,000, each less depreciation to date. The category decides the fixed asset account, the accumulated depreciation account and the default depreciation method, so a wrongly categorised asset misstates both the Balance Sheet and the depreciation expense.
Formula
Each bar = Sum of asset net value per asset category, from the Fixed Asset Register
