Delayed Order Report

Sales orders delivered after their promised date, one row per order.

In detail

Delayed Order Report shows Sales Orders that were delivered later than promised, one row per order rather than per item, with the customer, the order's delivery date, the latest Delivery Note date and the days of delay. It is built on the same Delivery Note to Sales Order link as Delayed Item Report but summarised to the order, so it tells you which customers waited and for how long. A customer who sees three late orders in a season will move to another supplier; this report is how you find out before they do. Use it for the monthly service review; it posts nothing.

Formula

Delay days = latest Delivery Note posting date for the order - Sales Order delivery date, where positive
