Supplier Scorecard Standing
A score band such as Excellent, Average or Poor, with actions like warning or preventing new orders. No ledger effect.
In detail
A Supplier Scorecard Standing is a band of scores with a name and consequences: for example Excellent for 80 and above, Average for 50 to 79, and Poor below 50. Each standing can warn users when they create a Purchase Order or Request for Quotation for the supplier, or prevent those documents entirely, and it can show a colour on the supplier record. It posts nothing. The standard standings cover most needs; create your own when you want a stricter cut off or an extra band. A prevent setting is a hard block, so use it for suppliers you really intend to stop buying from until they improve.
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Buying > Supplier Scorecard Standing > New.
- 02Enter the name, for example Poor, with Min Grade 0 and Max Grade 49.
- 03Tick Warn Purchase Orders, Prevent Purchase Orders or Prevent RFQs as needed, and pick a colour.
- 04Save; the standing is available on every Supplier Scorecard's Standings table.
When to use it
Create under Buying > Supplier Scorecard Standing with a score range.
Example from the demo books
Below 50 is Poor and blocks new Purchase Orders until reviewed.
