Supplier Scorecard Period
The score of one supplier for one period, calculated from the criteria. No ledger effect.
In detail
A Supplier Scorecard Period is the score of one supplier for one date range, generated automatically by the scorecard's schedule. It stores the values of each variable in that range, the result of each criterion and the total score, and it is submitted so the history cannot be edited later. It posts nothing. Open one when a supplier questions their standing: it shows exactly how many shipments were counted, how many were late and how the weights turned that into the score. If the underlying data was wrong, fix the Purchase Receipts and regenerate the period from the scorecard rather than editing the period itself.
Formula
Period score = Sum of (Weight x Criteria value) for the period's date range
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Buying > Supplier Scorecard Period and filter by Supplier.
- 02Open the period for the dates in question.
- 03Read the Variables table for the raw counts and the Criteria table for each weighted result.
- 04Compare the Total Score with the standings on the Supplier Scorecard.
When to use it
Generated automatically; submitted periods lock. Open one to see how a score was computed.
