Pending Work Order

This chart runs the Work Order Summary report filtered to orders not yet Completed, so it shows the production backlog: how many orders and how much quantity is still to be made. The demo shows 0. Nothing posts until orders finish. The chart is the production side of Sales Orders to Deliver: customer promises waiting on the floor. Orders that will never run should be closed from the Work Order so the backlog is real.

Bars = Count or qty of Work Orders where status not in (Completed, Closed, Cancelled), from the Work Order Summary report

1. 01Go to Manufacturing; the chart sits with Work Order Analysis.
2. 02Hover a bar to read the pending count or quantity.
3. 03To change the range, open the chart menu > Edit and set the report filters.
4. 04Click the chart to open the full Work Order Summary filtered to pending orders.
5. 05Start the oldest orders first or close the ones that are no longer needed.
