Last Month Downtime Analysis

This chart runs the Downtime Analysis report for last month and draws machine downtime per workstation, taken from Downtime Entry records that operators log when a machine stops. The demo shows 0. It reads nothing from the ledger, but downtime is lost capacity and therefore lost margin. A workstation that tops the chart every month is a candidate for an Asset Repair, which does post, or for replacement.

1. 01Go to Manufacturing and find the chart among the production charts.
2. 02Hover a bar to read the workstation and minutes lost.
3. 03To change the month, open the chart menu > Edit and set the report dates.
4. 04Click the chart to open the full Downtime Analysis report with reasons.
5. 05Book repairs through Assets > Asset Repair for the worst machine.
