Share Type
A class of share, such as Equity or Preference. No ledger effect.
In detail
A Share Type names a class of shares the company can issue, such as Equity or Preference, with its description. Nepali private companies almost always have one class of ordinary shares with a Rs 100 face value, but a company with preference shares or different voting rights keeps each class as a separate type. It is a master with no ledger effect; the Share Transfer that issues shares of the type does the posting to Share Capital. Shareholders' holdings are kept per type, so the register can show how many of each class each person holds. Create it before the first Share Transfer.
