Transaction Deletion Record

Deletes all transactions of a company, usually to clear demo data before go live. It removes GL and stock entries.

In detail

A Transaction Deletion Record wipes every transaction of a company while keeping the masters: all invoices, payments, journal entries, GL Entries, stock ledger entries and their links are removed. Its purpose is to clear demo or trial data before you load real books, for example the 207 demo Sales Invoices and 174 Journal Entries of Yatra For Fun Pvt Ltd. It runs in the background and cannot be undone, and in a live company it would destroy the records the IRD requires you to keep for six years. Take a backup first and never run it on a company that has ever issued a real invoice.
