Quality

Quality records checks on goods received or shipped: Quality Inspection with its readings, Quality Inspection Template, Quality Procedure, Quality Goal and Non Conformance. The card counts this month's inspections and the charts show inspection trend and accepted against rejected. The demo books do not use it. Traders of food, medicine or building material use it on every receipt. Inspections post nothing; a rejected lot is returned through a Purchase Receipt return, which reverses Stock In Hand and leads to a debit note against the supplier.

1. 01Go to Quality from the sidebar.
2. 02Click Quality Inspection Template > New with the parameters to check for an item.
3. 03Tick Inspection Required on the Item so receipts demand an inspection.
4. 04On a Purchase Receipt, open the inspection, enter readings and mark Accepted or Rejected.
5. 05Return rejected goods from the receipt with Create > Return.
6. 06Read Quality Inspection Analysis monthly per supplier.
