IRD Settings
Seller PAN, CBMS username and password, and whether invoices post to the IRD sandbox or the live server. No ledger effect.
In detail
IRD Settings is the single screen that connects BRAccount to the Inland Revenue Department's Central Billing Monitoring System. It holds the seller PAN (999999999 in the demo), the CBMS username and password issued by the IRD, and the switch between the IRD sandbox and the live server. Every submitted Sales Invoice and credit note is sent to CBMS with these credentials, and the result is logged in CBMS Sync Log. It posts nothing. Pointing a live company at the sandbox means no invoice reaches the IRD, while test invoices on the live server are reported as real sales, so check the mode before the first invoice.
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Nepal IRD > IRD Settings.
- 02Enter the seller PAN exactly as registered.
- 03Enter the CBMS username and password from the IRD registration letter.
- 04Select Sandbox for testing or Live for production.
- 05Click Test Connection and confirm the IRD replies.
- 06Save. Submitted invoices now sync in real time; check CBMS Sync Log.
When to use it
Open Nepal IRD > IRD Settings once; test the connection before live invoicing.
