Ledger Automation Settings
Switches for the monthly cycle automation: post depreciation, reconcile the bank, run the monthly close, send the Telegram outbox. No ledger effect.
In detail
Ledger Automation Settings is the control panel for the monthly cycle that runs without a person: whether to post depreciation from the schedules, whether to run bank reconciliation against imported Bank Transactions, whether to create the Monthly Close, and whether to send the Telegram outbox messages. Each switch turns one scheduled job on or off; the jobs post the same documents a user would, such as ACC-JV-2026-00091 for depreciation. The screen itself posts nothing. Turning depreciation off and forgetting it leaves the month without a depreciation charge, which the Monthly Close then flags. Keep the switches on in production and off in a test copy.
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Nepal IRD > Ledger Automation Settings.
- 02Tick Post Depreciation so due schedule rows become Depreciation Entries each month.
- 03Tick Reconcile Bank to match imported transactions to payments automatically.
- 04Tick Create Monthly Close and Send Telegram Outbox as needed.
- 05Save. The next scheduled run uses the new switches; check Monthly Close afterwards.
When to use it
Open Nepal IRD > Ledger Automation Settings and turn each job on or off.
Example from the demo books
Depreciation on, so entries like ACC-JV-2026-00091 post each month without manual work.
