CBMS Sync Log

One row per invoice or credit note posted to the IRD's CBMS server, with status and retry count. No ledger effect.

In detail

The CBMS Sync Log records every attempt to send a Sales Invoice or credit note to the IRD's Central Billing Monitoring System: the invoice, the time, the response status, the IRD's reply and the retry count. The Electronic Billing Procedure 2082 requires real time sync, so a submitted invoice is sent immediately and, if the IRD server is down, retried by the scheduler until it is accepted. The log posts nothing to the ledger. ACC-SINV-2026-00004 shows status 200, which means the IRD holds a copy. An invoice that stays unsynced for days is a compliance gap that must be explained during an IRD audit.

How to record it in BRAccount

  1. 01Go to Nepal IRD > CBMS Sync Log.
  2. 02Filter by Status not equal to 200 to see failures.
  3. 03Open a row and read the IRD response text and the retry count.
  4. 04Fix the cause: credentials in IRD Settings, a missing customer PAN, or the IRD server.
  5. 05Click Retry on the row, or wait for the scheduler, and confirm status 200.

When to use it

Read only; open Nepal IRD > CBMS Sync Log when an invoice or credit note is not confirmed by IRD.
