Bank Clearance Summary
Payments and journal entries against a bank account with their clearance dates, from Journal Entry and Payment Entry.
In detail
Bank Clearance Summary lists every Payment Entry and Journal Entry that touched a bank account in the period, with its cheque or reference number, the amount and the Clearance Date if one has been set. Rows with a blank clearance date are cheques still floating or deposits not yet credited, the items that explain the gap in the Bank Reconciliation Statement. A Nepali business paying suppliers by cheque uses this to see which cheques are still out, so the real spendable bank balance is known before writing more. Clearance dates are set in the Bank Clearance tool or by the Bank Reconciliation Tool when it matches imported Bank Transactions. The report is a view only; it changes nothing.
Formula
Uncleared amount = Sum of bank account entries in the period whose Clearance Date is blank or later than the report date
