IRD Compliance Checklist
A list of checks against the Electronic Billing Procedure 2082: settings, registers, sync status and print format rules.
In detail
The IRD Compliance Checklist runs through the requirements of the Electronic Billing Procedure 2082 and reports which ones your BRAccount setup meets: IRD Settings filled in with PAN and software details, real time CBMS sync switched on and working, QR code and Copy of Original on the print format, no deletion of submitted bills, the Sales Book, Purchase Book and return registers available, the activity log recording prints, and backups kept for six years. Each check is marked met, needs manual confirmation or action needed. Run it before going live, before the annual software listing with IRD and before any audit, and fix the action items first. The demo shows 23 checks: 13 met, 9 manual, 1 action needed.
Formula
Score = Checks met / Total checks; any check marked action needed blocks the claim of full compliance
How to record it in BRAccount
- 01Go to Nepal IRD > Compliance Checklist and set Company.
- 02Read each row: Requirement, Status (Met, Manual, Action Needed) and the note explaining it.
- 03Open Nepal IRD > IRD Settings to fix any setting the checklist flags as missing.
- 04Resync failed invoices from the CBMS Sync Log if the sync check is not met.
- 05Confirm the manual items yourself, such as backup practice and printed book retention.
- 06Rerun until no row shows Action Needed, then export it with Menu > Export for the audit file.
When to use it
Open before going live or before an audit to see what still needs attention.
