Activity log

Also called: IRD Activity Log

A viewable, printable record of who created, submitted, printed or cancelled each bill, as the procedure requires.

In detail

The activity log is the record the Electronic Billing Procedure 2082 requires of who did what to each bill and when: created, submitted, printed, reprinted as Copy of Original, cancelled, amended, synced to CBMS. BRAccount writes these events from the document history and the print counter, with the user name and timestamp, and the IRD Activity Log report shows them per invoice or per period. It is the evidence that no bill was deleted or quietly changed, and it is what an inspector reads when a customer's copy differs from the seller's. It cannot be edited; your only task is to print it when asked and make sure every user logs in under their own name.

How to record it in BRAccount

  1. 01Go to Nepal IRD > Activity Log.
  2. 02Filter by invoice number, user or date range and run the report.
  3. 03Read the rows for ACC-SINV-2026-00004: created, submitted, printed, then a second print marked Copy of Original.
  4. 04For a cancelled bill, confirm the cancel event, the user and the amended invoice that replaced it.
  5. 05Export or print the log when the tax office asks; keep users on individual logins so the names are meaningful.

When to use it

Nothing to do; print it if the tax office asks.

Example from the demo books

Shows that ACC-SINV-2026-00004 was printed twice, the second marked Copy of Original.
